We all prefer soaring down the mountain to climbing up it. However, with 2 double chairlifts and a wonder carpet lift in the beginner area, our uphill capacity of 5000 people per hour will get you up there quick! Lift tickets are required for all passengers at all times.
Holiday Mountain has an awesome Freestyle Terrain Park for every level of skier or boarder - work your way up from beginner to that-was-unreal-dude! Check out the park page for photos of all its cool features by clicking on the link on the left menu.

We have 2 Double Chairlifts to whisk you to the top. The Blue Chair takes you up to the intermediate & advanced runs, and operates at full speed!

The Green Chair, further to the east, brings you up to our more delicate beginner runs. Green also has a safety bar, and runs just a bit slower than the Blue lift.

First in Manitoba and Saskatchewan! Wonder Carpet Beginner Lift. The tradition of originality and inspired enthusiasm all began in 1935, when the first athletes came across the valley to ski La Riviere. In the following years, Holiday Mountain was marked as a Manitoba ski destination, and in the winter of 1959 - 1960, the resort opened for business and began its legacy of innovation. The first snowmaking system, the first chairlift, the first website, and the first snow camera have graced the stage at Holiday Mountain, and now, as we continue to set the trend in Manitoba skiing, we have the first Wonder Carpet.
Fast, easy to use, and the safest beginner lift in the ski & snowboard industry.
DID YOU KNOW? All the runs at Holiday Mountain are named after people who helped with the creation of the area. Who's your favorite?

For the safety and further enjoyment of everyone participating in snow sports we ask that you adhere to the Alpine Responsibility Code. If you are a first timer - be sure to check out the Gear Guide from the left menu, and don't forget to take a lesson with a professional.
